Sara Glanzer 1980-2002

This scholarship
is provided in honor of Sara Glanzer for her tenacious dedication
to the education and conservation principles of ITEC. Her parents,
Joy and John Glanzer, wished to establish a scholarship in Saras
name that would promote academic excellence and be awarded to individuals
whos modest means would not otherwise allow them to enjoy Saras
paradise on earth.
The Sara Glanzer
Scholarship is competitive and based on scholastic achievement and
economic need.
The award pays
full tuition for any ITEC course.
To Apply, Please
Provide the Following:
- Cover Letter indicating
your desire to apply for the Sara Glanzer Scholarship.
- Completed ITEC General
Application Form. (downloadable)
- Student Essay. This
essay should provide an autobiographical sketch, explain why you
wish to take the ITEC course and how taking the course fits into
your academic goals.
- Three Letters of Recommendation.
These should come from your academic advisor and professors. One
letter may come from an employer. These letters should address
your academic achievements, potential for research and economic
hardship as well as interpersonal skills.
- Grade Transcripts
from colleges and universities attended.
- Tax Returns or other
evidence of income (salary statements, etc.)
- Supporting Information.
Provide any other relevant academic- or employment-related information
that supports your application. This could be information regarding
having to work and attend school simultaneously, being a single
parent or other situations that might relate to your past academic
performance.
