Teaching Experience

Dr.Guerrón-Montero has taught a variety of lecture and field courses including Cultural Anthropology, Women and Culture, Ethnographic Field Methods, Anthropology of Tourism, Human Adaptation, and Racial and Ethnic Relations in Afro-Latin America.

Research Interests

Dr. Guerrón-Montero's research interests include gender, ethnicity, and identity, tourism and processes of globalization, Caribbean philosophical thought, Applied Anthropology, and Latin American and the Caribbean / African Diaspora. Most of her research has taken place in Ecuador and Bocas del Toro, Panama.
